Dr Raman is deputy head, School of Marketing and International Business, and senior lecturer in International Business at Victoria University of Wellington.

Revti Raman (PhD University of Auckland) is lecturer in International Business in the School of Marketing & International Business at Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand.

His major teaching and research interests are in the areas of international business and management.

Prior to pursuing his academic career in New Zealand, he worked as an academic in India for about 12 years. His specific research areas include outsourcing and offshoring, strategy, firm performance, emerging economies, globalisation issues, and the Indian business environment.

His work has been published in high-quality international journals, conference proceedings and book chapters. He has more than 30 publications to his credit. He regularly reviews papers for international conferences and journals. He loves writing poetry in his native languages: Punjabi and Hindi.
