Professional practice student leave notification

• Any absence from the professional practice must be notified at the earliest by completing the student absence notification form.
• Inform your school (associate/mentor teacher) before 8.00am, or as soon as is practicable, if you are unable to attend your placement with a reason for your absence. Please copy the EPPP office in your email.
• Discuss any extended absence (i.e., of three days or more) with the programme director or EPPPO manager as it may mean you risk not meeting the standards or Matatū Aotearoa | The Teaching Council of Aotearoa New Zealand practice requirements.
